Splash Hong Kong
Splash Hong Kong is an award winning, PADI Five Star Dive Center offering a comprehensive range of diving services and PADI courses, tailored to your needs and schedule. As well as diving courses we also provide fun diving excursions, equipment sales and servicing and regular overseas club trips. Training is typically done on Hong Kong Island or in Kowloon and in the waters off Sai Kung and Clearwater Bay. Splash caters primarily to English Speaking divers and runs a dive club offering discounts, incentives, regular fun diving days and social events for its members. The friendly Splash team has a passion for diving and a good sense of fun. You can always be guaranteed you will receive first class diving guidance and tuition.
Discover Scuba Diving - is a half day experience program that introduces someone to Scuba Diving and includes two dives - cost HK$1,000 (includes a HK$250 voucher off the full cost of the Open Water Course).
Open Water Diver Course - this is the entry level certification that allows someone to rent gear and go diving with a Buddy. This course is usually conducted over two weekends, theory and pool training the first weekend and open water diving the following weekend. Weekday courses also available with a minimum of two people! Cost is HK$3,700.
Advanced Open Water Diver Course - following on from the Open Water Diver Course, the Advanced Open Water Diver Course comprises five dives and provides additional training in specific areas, such as Deep, Navigation, Peak Performance Buoyancy, DPV, Night diving, Search and Recovery, Photography... Cost HK$2,700.
Rescue Diver Course - for a more experienced diver, this course teaches individuals everything from self rescue to a full search and rescue scenario - this is a great course and good fun! Cost HK$3,500
Specialty Diver Courses - These are courses for people who are interested in developing more specialised skills in a particular type of diving - Enriched Air (Nitrox) is common as well as the dives mentioned in the Advanced Course - Cost varies depending upon the course.
Master Scuba Diver - Recognition that a diver has completed the Rescue Diver Certification, five Specialties and complete 50 logged dives.
Divemaster - The first step on the professional rung! The Divemaster Course teaches individuals about supervising divers and assisting instructors with teaching, a tough but highly rewarding course.
In addition, we offer Emergency First Response - CPR and First Aid Courses and DAN (Diver Alert Network) Oxygen Provider courses.
Splash Students also benefit from discounts on dive gear (from 20%) and continuing education courses (10%). We organise Splash days that are a little different to the regular dive operators. We try to get to less frequently dived sites off Sai Kung and also my wife Annie caters, so we have a mixture of Indonesian and British cuisine which always goes down well!
