What to expect:
You have tried hiking in one of the Hong Kong Country Park but have you tried "river trekking"?
As we know summertime in Hong Kong is very hot and humid. Many people stop going trekking altogether because the mid-summer weather conditions just make the activity too uncomfortable.
However, Hong Kong provides a distinctive, beautiful alternative with up-stream trekking. We have about 50 accessible streams that are graded according to their difficulty levels.
Our experience and qualified mountain leadership instructor will take you to some of the most beautiful of the easier streams,
such as:
Sheung-Luk Stream Sai Kung East Country Park
Description
This is one of the biggest and most beautiful streams in Hong Kong The water is clear and its quantity allows for bathing and diving in several rock pools along its reaches.
Wang Chung Stream Plover Cove Country Park
Description
The Wang Chung Stream is one of the most popular with its entrance on Bride's Pool Road. It has easy accessibility and is hiker-friendly. It embraces picturesque landscapes, majestic waterfalls and pools of limpid, clear freshwater. As it is a short one, one can enjoy the stream without having to worry about being overtaken by the sunset! It's an ideal place for a relaxing summer afternoon, a place to forget the noise and hassle in the city.
