Counselling
In the context of mental health, "counselling" is generally used to denote a relatively brief treatment that is focused most upon behaviour. It often targets a particular symptom or problematic situation and offers suggestions and advice for dealing with it.
To us, counselling is more educational and professional guidance or advice giving. The territory the counselor covers is more specialized, i.e., school guidance counseling, addiction program counseling to name a few examples. Often there is a structure of the work that encompasses educational interaction and a defined structure. The counselor will assist the person in his or her recovery and this will be the main focus of the intervention. Marital issues, depression, anxiety may or may not be addressed but it is not the focus of the intervention.

Supervision
Supervision means to oversee, and is used in counselling and psychotherapy, in the medical and nursing fields, in social work, and in aspects of teaching and the general care of others. It is a part of an overall training of mental health professionals that deals with modifying their actual in-therapy behaviours. It implies an element of protection and safety in its overall application.
In general, supervision may be seen as either training supervision or consultative supervision. Supervision is part of the overall training and educational needs of the health professional and there are many supervision model and styles such as case supervision or team supervision to look at.
Supervision advances and encourages
- a constructive self-reflection
- the development and realisation of new perceptions and behaviour pattern
- a competent and cooperative behaviour of communication
- the understanding of interaction processes and their dynamics
- a goal-oriented handling of conflicts.
We offer services in
° Single supervision
in the area of conflict between private and professional everyday life the desires of acceptance, lively communication and fulfilling of personal competence has a very high significance. Often these desires get lost. In the single supervision learning processes will be selective encouraged.
° Case supervision
people, who are working in psycho-social fields can analyse and reflect their therapeutic and counselling activity. Systemic goal-oriented and person-centered backgrounds form the basic for rich processes of experience and learning.
° Team supervision
the topic is the constructive cooperation in a team. The dynamic of cooperative relationships and interactions is the centre of our attention. Goals can be the mutual appreciated acceptance of the team members and the creation of a working climate, which is characterized by social competence of the team members.
° Supervision for teachers
Teachers and other persons in the teaching field face many psycho-social factors, which need a professional view to analyse it. It is possible to clarify and solve conflicts, to mediate between conflict partners and to coordinate different desires. The motivation of “difficult” students and their “disturbing behaviour” can be cleared, mobbing behaviour will issued and resolved.
Coaching
“A dream is just a dream. A goal is dream with a plan and a deadline.”
Harvey Mackay
What is coaching?
Coaching combines the best of many areas of personal development.
Coaching is a goal-oriented method to clarify issues in areas of personal or professional development.
It is a conversation about the future rather than the past.
In a coaching situation the client looks at the here and now. The coach helps the client to find his/her own answers through questions like:
What is my current situation?
What is right, what is wrong?
What is missing/what could be eliminated?
What are my plans?
What can I do to realize them?
The coach is alongside the client supporting and encouraging; any necessary actions are decided by the client.
The coach sees more talent and ability within the client than the coachee and helps to draw from his or her own resources.
Coaching is an ongoing partnership that helps clients produce fulfilling results in their personal and/or professional lives.
It is not therapy and involves less time.
Get a coach if:
You are stuck with a problem (big or small)
