There was a group of concerned parents formed FASH (food allergies self-help), expressing concern about the lack of foods available in Hong Kong for those who suffer food allergies. In response to the FASH initiative, former camera importer Ms Anna Chen founded Health Gate in June 1992, to provide foodstuff for people with specific needs.
Since then, Health Gate has been an importer, distributor and retailer of health foods with the mission of educating and introducing general public to a new and enlightened attitude towards healthy eating and a healthy lifestyle.
