Kennel Van Dego was founded in January 1981. Since then the kennel has been running by the owner up to now.
The company business deals mainly in pets boarding, training, pet importation and exportation, pet food delivery. The kennel is known for it's good service, clean and spacious. Because of the reliable service, we are highly recommended by other pet organizations as well as many professional veterinary practices.
It is now one of the largest boarding establishment in Hong Kong. Our pledge is to provide good and reliable pet services. The kennel has been chosen to be interview by numbers of different media. Such as: T.V. media in Hong Kong, Taiwan and Japan. Many other magazine and newspaper media. |
| Since your animal friends are members of your families, we are here to assist you in case you need to relocate to other country. We can handle most importation, exportation or transition for your animal friends.
There are some answers to your queries you may have while you are planning for your move. We can handle most cases door to door, or door to port.
The followings are the most common places peoples are moving to: |
| Canada
- Both dog/ cat need update vaccination record, health certificate.
- Other animal may need import permit.
- Some airlines accept pet as excess baggage.
- Maximum one month to prepare in advance. |
| America
- Both dog/cat need update vaccination record, health certificate.
- Other animal may need import permit.
- Some airlines accept pet as excess baggage.
- Maximum one month to prepare. |
| Singapore
- Both dog/cat need to be kept in quarantine for one month upon arrival.
- Birds are allowed. One month quarantine also needed.
- Recommend to send by cargo.
- At least one month in advance to prepare. |
| Japan
- Both dog/cat need to be kept in quarantine upon arrival.
- Recommend to send by cargo.
- At least one month in advance to prepare. |
| Taiwan
- Both dog/cat need to kept in quarantine.
- Recommend to send by cargo.
- At least two months in advance to prepare, quarantine space is not enough. |
| Australia, New Zealand
- Both dog/cat need to be kept in quarantine upon arrival.
- No other animal allowed.
- Many blood tests, treatments and other procedure to follow, please use an agent to handle.
- Special arranged cargo only.
- At least seven months in advance to prepare. |
| UK
- New importation law for pets coming from some countries and places. Hong Kong is one of the places on the list.
- Both dogs and cats can travel to England without quarantine.
- At least seven month in advance to prepare. |
| China
- Both dog/cat need update vaccination and health certificate.
- In house quarantine can be arranged in some provinces.
- Importation procedure is complicate and we recommend using agent. |
| Europe
- There are many changes related to pet moving recently, we recommend you to call earlier to find out importation requirement of your destination country. |
| Coming to Hong Kong
- Depending on the pet's country of origin, some need quarantine and some doesn't. please send us an e-mail and we can get you a clear idea. At least one month in advance to prepare. |
| Going to China, transit through Hong Kong
- We can arrange the transit and the arrival custom clearance both in Hong Kong and in China. |
