HKIPA was established in 2000. It is a non-profit organization registered in Hong Kong. The registration number is CP/LICX/SO/19/26552.
Our aim is to promote parrot breeding to the general public and share our experiences with members. We shall organize various parrot-related activities so as to develop youngsters’ responsibility and enthusiasm towards our society; also we hope to arouse their concern of environmental protection.
Objectives
1. Hold gatherings, road shows, exhibitions, seminars etc. to promote proper ways to take care of parrots. 2. Hold parrot contest for upgrading the breeders’ skill.
3. Communicate with foreign organizations for learning more knowledge about parrots.
4. Introduce appropriate parrot caring knowledge to youngsters so that they shall establish a correct attitude towards all living creatures. |

Annual Fee : HK$100 for adult, HK$50 for children under 12 or senior over 60 of age.
(Annual fee covers a free T-Shirt and a membership card.)
