Hepatitis (especially hepatitits B) is a common infectious disease with substantial socioeconomic impact in the region. ASIAHEP Hong Kong Limited is a non-profitable organization established in 1996, as a chapter of the ASIAHEP Congress, to combat with the disease through increase public understanding of the risks of hepatitis, prevention options and its management. We work through a variety of ways, including (1) Provide information to media and other interested parties about healthcare measures and management of hepatitis, (2) Work closely with existing medical societies to provide accurate and consistent information about hepatitis, and (3) Promote and carry out health education for the public.
