WCWP is structured to provide a comprehensive service in architecture, planning, structural design, interior design and project management to meet individual clients' specific needs. The Company has developed high level CAAD / CADD workstations to handle graphics, production work and 3D modeling from design development through to production drawings and has built up a reputation for high quality computer expertise in the architectural field.
WCWP was a pioneer in developing consultancy services in Mainland China and now has branch offices in Guangzhou, Shanghai, Beijing and Fuzhou. The Dubai office has recently won a number of international competitions and WCWP is actively engaged in this new market. Through collaborative partnership, the company has successfully implemented a wide variety of project types of substantial volume in Hong Kong and the PRC as well as the South East Asia region including Thailand, Vietnam and Malaysia. Completed projects range from commercial complexes, offices and hotels, luxury apartment blocks with associated club facilities, high density housing estates, large-scale low-density luxury villas, schools and purpose-built ‘high-tech' industrial and industrial / office buildings. Additionally, the Company has a considerable track record of innovative restoration and addition work for hotels, office buildings, clubs, schools, public facilities and residential estate..
Established more than three decades ago as a local Hong Kong practice, the company has evolved changes over the intervening years and the international aspects of the practice were recognized in 1996 with the current firm name WCWP International Limited (WCWP).
WCWP's philosophy of excellence and professional service, with sound and innovative technical back up, balanced by economy and aesthetics has stood the test of time. The firm was one of the first architectural practices in Hong Kong to achieve ISO 9001 & ISO 14001 accreditations. The environmental aspects of ISO14001 are carried through the design process, the documentation stages and the construction management procedures and to this end a comprehensive computerized office management system has been developed in-house.
WCWP is headed by 2 Executive Directors and 5 Directors who are assisted by a team of professional, technical and administrative staff of one hundred and fifty. The competitive edge of the Company is that the principals are involved directly and closely with all aspects of all projects, from design inception, design development and contract documentation through to final commissioning of the finished projects.
