My First Golf Lesson How we start Thanks to my son, Jason. He came with me to driving range when he was 3 years old. He was so excited to get a golf club and never let me go near the bay once he started hitting balls. And it is out of my expectation that he could keep hitting balls for the whole hour without jumping or hoping around. So I started giving minimal coaching to him. Surprisingly he has his swing improved so quickly that when he was 4, he made his very first appearance in the "Hong Kong Junior Open" in 2004.
He shot 63 for 9 holes and won nothing in the 8 & under group. However, he won the attention of the press from "South China Morning Post" and "Golf Digest Magazine". His story also proved that age and size do not matter in golf but how interested and excited the kid get in golf do.
Here comes to my mind that there are many kids out there using a plastic toy iron to hit a real golf ball at range. Why not getting them started in some kind of golf training at their early age. Explaining the wrist cock and weight shift to a child is just like telling them to solve a quadratic equation. However, hitting balls to the pin and making it fun will definitely get them excited to the game.
I started planning the program specially designed for kids with a lot of fun elements added into the course ......

It has been a pleasure to have golf instruction as my career. I find nothing more rewarding than to see my students improve and make a par or even birdie at the first time.
Teaching kids golf is fun, and at the same time, requires patience and creativity. I have developed a way to start the kids on the right path by keeping the instructions simple, interesting and challenging throughout the program. My love for the game is even stronger when I grow up with my students together.

My passion in teaching golf is always strong and this feeling becomes even stronger after joining My First Golf Lesson as a golf instructor.
We meet our students weekly and see their golf skills improving whilst keeping the lessons fun and challenging. The encouraging part of the whole experience is the kid hitting the golf ball straight down the middle out there.
School Program
Starting a Junior Golf Program - READY......GO ! My First Golf Lesson aims at providing a SAFE and FUN environment to students for learning the game of Golf at anytime and anywhere. We have launched this program to kindergartens and primary schools since 2004. Students love this program because they can learn the fundamentals and skills right after school and parents do not need to shuttle the kids to driving range on weekends. After School Programs
Today, many schools have after-school programs that free up the parents and create constructive environments for the kids. Best of all, the schools and/or parents are willing to pay for the child's development after school. Now golf can take advantage of this.
Curriculum Classes
Many schools want to teach golf as a curriculum class. Designed to let juniors progress at their own pace, the unique curriculum combines golf skills and basic fundamentals of the swing. They'll learn technique, rules, etiquette. The program provides the perfect opportunity for juniors of all abilities to develop their skills.
Indoor Training
Even if the weather is miserable outside, My First Golf Lesson have the ability to hold classes indoors so the students will not miss a skill session. All you need is a gym or any enclosure and you can learn the game of golf anytime.
Summer Vacation Activities
Schools are vacant in the summer. It's a natural winner because the space is often free. Best of all, your locations are usually right where kids live. My First Golf Lesson makes golf fun, accessible and easy to learn in the summer vacation.
