The Ark Veterinary Clinic was established by Dr. Kylie Griffin in 1995 as a companion animal clinic and hospital. Having worked in Hong Kong for five years prior, Dr. Griffin's aim was to provide the best possible healthcare and treatment for companion animals and their owners in a friendly and supportive environment.
We feel we have succeeded
Dr. Kylie Griffin grew up in Rockhampton in Queensland Australia. She studied at the Queensland University School of Veterinary Science, graduating in 1982. She and her two sons Ben and Jack live close to the hospital with their greyhound dogs, Chester and Zac and Bertie, Ginger, Mother and Stubbie (domestic shorthaired cats).
Living in Hong Kong for 17 years, she opened The Ark Veterinary Clinic in 1995. The clinic grew form one veterinarian to the current day 5 veterinarian 24hour emergency hospital.
With a special interest in oncology, Dr. Kylie mostly enjoys nursing her patients from ill health to recovery. She recognizes that animals do not communicate on our terms, so it is a challenge to diagnose and treat them, and ease their pain. She welcomes this challenge because she knows how important her patients are to their families
