HKIPA was established in 2000. It is a non-profit organization registered in Hong Kong. The registration number is CP/LICX/SO/19/26552.
Our aim is to promote parrot breeding to the general public and share our experiences with members. We shall organize various parrot-related activities so as to develop youngsters’ responsibility and enthusiasm towards our society; also we hope to arouse their concern of environmental protection.
Objectives
1. Hold gatherings, road shows, exhibitions, seminars etc. to promote proper ways to
take care of parrots.
2. Hold parrot contest for upgrading the breeders’ skill.
3. Communicate with foreign organizations for learning more knowledge about parrots.
4. Introduce appropriate parrot caring knowledge to youngsters so that they shall
establish a correct attitude towards all living creatures.

本會是一個已在社團註冊處註冊的合法非牟利組織。宗旨為推廣飼養鸚鵡、交流飼養心得以及保障會友之合理權益。本會更希望通過飼養鸚鵡活動，向青少年灌輸熱愛生命、保育自然及有責任心之思想。
未來發展目標
1. 推廣飼養鸚鵡活動、爭取舉辦鸚鵡展覽，使更多巿民認識飼養鸚鵡
這項活動。
2. 經常舉行鸚鵡展示，藉此提高飼養者之技巧，並吸引更多同好。
3. 與國外同類組織溝通交流，增加會員對飼養鸚鵡的知識。
4. 向學生介紹飼養鸚鵡的知識，藉此灌輸熱愛生命、保育自然及責任
