The association was founded in 2004.

Our aims were and are to promote better communication between professional groomer's,to encourage our members to improve their skills and to establish better public relations.

In this year we have been established we certainly have achieved one goal, now we have groomers talking to each other.

At HKPGA , you'll find the most caring professionals in the industry. We begin by recruiting pet parents who love animals and, like you, want the best for your pet.

Next, we provide variety comprehensive and extensive training programs that you will find.Our specialists that certifies them in all areas of customer care and quality, which includes greeting pet and parents; understanding their special needs and offering solutions; minimizing customer wait time and groom turn-around time; walking a customer through the grooming process at their own business and delivering a consistently high quality groom.

Very few have walked away from a seminar we have held with our learning some little tip or a different way to approach something. In our profession styles and methods are always changing subtly and our seminars help to keep the members up to date with the trends.

While most professional grooming services are tailored to dogs, some pets, especially those with long hair, may need professional grooming in addition to the care you give them at home, we are willing to send our specialists near by you.

There is a good chance that if your dog requires a groomer and are unable to make it to your usual salon, or are new to the scene, we can supply you with the telephone number of a member near you.
