Want to Volunteer?
If you are not able to adopt or foster a dog but would like to offer some support, there are many different ways in which you help. All we ask is that if you volunteer, you know that you will be able to fulfill any commitments, so be sure you have the time before putting your hand up. We need the following:
At our Pokfulam Kennels there are usually around 50 dogs waiting for adoption at any one time. We are always looking for anyone who is willing to help with kennel cleaning, feeding, dog walking, grooming and socialising. You don't need experience, just a love of dogs and a willingness to get your hands (and clothes) dirty.
If you would like to join our happy and enthusiastic band of volunteers, please contact Victoria Noble our New Volunteer Coordinator at [email protected] .
If you have already registered as a Volunteer and would like to confirm your shift times or for any other enquiries please email Rachael Lerigo at [email protected]
Please note: children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult. Children between the ages of 14 and 18 must have a signed Parental Consent form before being allowed to help at the kennels unaccompanied
If Pokfulam is too far away for you, or you don't have the time to do any on-site kennel work, you can still help in many other ways. We always need:
*Anyone who can put up our posters (large and small) in their area (vet clinics, supermarkets, schools etc)
*Anyone willing to pass on information via their e-mail list
*Anyone with a car willing to drive dogs to various destinations (most needed!)
*Anyone willing to help raise funds.
