「從亞洲角度演譯設計」研討會

亞洲設計融合了區內各國的歷史、文化、節日及社會風俗等特色，在國際設計舞台上一直發揮著相當的影響力。而隨著近年亞洲地區的急促發展以及市場對外開放，各國對高質素設計的需求日漸提昇，促使亞洲設計的潮流和趨勢成為世界設計業發展的重要指標。
有見及此，大會邀請了在區內享負盛名的設計界代表為我們講解亞洲設計的最新動向，並以個別國家為例，詳述高質素設計如何能應用在不同範籌上，為複雜問題提供完善解決方案，以及在民生及社區發展等議題上協助製定高效政策。

HKDC lecture Series – Design in Asian Perspective

It is perhaps a difficult task to characterize Asian design in just a few lines. Running alongside world trends, it is also strongly influenced by individual Asian country’s respective culture, social practices, demography, festivals and even climate. As the continent grows at an unprecedented pace in recent years, Asia’s design industry, which serves half of the world’s population, has also become a signpost for the development of the global design sector.
In this seminar, with reference to particular Asian countries, renowned industry experts will keep us abreast of Asia’s design trends in general, show as examples of how design has been tactfully applied to solve complex issues, improve the well-being of the residents, as well as formulate social development plans. This is an inspiring session where speakers will share with us their interesting experience, insights and vision of the design industry.
