RAD was founded 1994 by Aoron Ton as OMA Asio in Hong Kong. It was om independent design office from OMA Rotterdam.
Since 2001 the office is renamed RAD-Research Architecture Design and it sets put to bridge the gop between Eastern and Western understanding of architecture and urbanism.
RAD has completed many high profile developments in prime locations in Asio. Projects include office towers in Hong Kong, new economy planning in Singapore, urban design in China, highway center in Taiwan, telecommunication headquarter and designer hotel in Korea. The office has wan open competitions including the Guangzhou international Convention & Exhibition Center and Redevelopment pf Orchard Road.
