About Us

PBL Leaders is an innovative education provider committed to developing the next generation of leaders. All courses are uniquely developed by our team of experts and advisers, helping children improve their physical, behavioral and language ability.

Adventure Facilities

PBL Leaders Adventure Center is the ONLY indoor rope activity center in Hong Kong. Located on the waterfront of Tsim Sha Tsui with the stimulating view of Hong Kong harbour, our Adventure Center is easy to find and conveniently located.

Our play area is well equipped with climbing walls, monkey bars and rope courses to provide challenges for children of all ages! Our open space can be transformed into a yoga studio, a fun classroom, even a supermarket or house for our role-play games!

Situational Learning

Situational Learning is about learning through experiences. It is focused on the application of knowledge in different settings. Only through using knowledge does that knowledge stick and last a lifetime. When learning is an indirect outcome of our courses then learning becomes fun and engaging.

Situational Learning as a teaching style was explored by Longman’s in the 1980’s. As a concept it never took off because learning centers were not able to implement the techniques described. Either because they did not have the necessary facilities or the teacher training required to make it work.

 

Small Class Size

At PBL Leaders we keep our classes small. The maximum we will have is 8 students per class with a student teacher ratio of 4 students to 1 teachers.

Learning Goals

Every child learns differently. Some children learn best sitting at a desk and reading text-books, but many others learn best through activities and games! PBL Leaders believes that although schools are very effective at passing on knowledge to children, this knowledge is useless unless children learn to use it! We believe that every child should have their education cater to their individual needs.

The biggest problem with situational learning or indirect learning is that the results are usually very hard to see!
