ELC has long sought to set itself apart by offering a unique learning and travel experience by selecting Native English-speaking teachers with Bachelor of Education degrees. ELC believes that students learn best when they are having fun.
ELC started while one of the founders was teaching English in Hong Kong, began looking at ways to help his students to overcome the language difficulties they were having. The logical conclusion was that real progress could be made if students could be temporarily removed from their mother-tongue environment and encouraged to communicate in an all-English environment.
ELC designs programmes with opportunities for students to develop their English through a variety of activities and will also interact with ELC teachers and classmates in English. ELC teachers and students often provide positive encouragements for each other and making the classes fun and enjoyable.

ELC wants the students to grow in their language proficiency and self-confidence. Also ELC wants students to enjoy the experience of learning. We also wish for a sustain long-term relationships with students, parents and schools which will ensure successful implementation and development of the English language for the students.
Safety first! ELC takes good care of the students, whom will be monitored at all times. Our teachers are first-aid certificate holders who can give proper medical treatment in case of emergencies. In addition, ELC will provide insurance coverage for all the students.
All ELC camps are activity-based. ELC programmes are restricted to have a small class size for instruction (local camps teacher to students ratio 1:20, overseas camps teacher to students ratio 1: 15). This permits greater attention to each individual student which enhances a stronger English language development progress. ELC believes that activity-based learning is more effective, however, we will also integrate the following practices into our camps.
Encourage students to speak and participate in group discussions and interactions among students.
ELC teachers speaking with sound pattern helps to develop their listening skills in class.
Encourage students to write and express their thoughts onto paper. ELC teachers will teach students how to write creatively and formally in English.
