簡介 Biography
葉泳彤五歲習琴,對音樂抱有濃厚的興趣,師隨鋼琴演奏家盧嘉博士及趙瑾博士,其他指導老師包括劉活石小姐、余嘉露小姐及裴玉樹博士,均獲高度評價。多年間,葉氏曾參與多項賽事並奪得不少獎項,包括中國《德藝雙馨》鋼琴獨奏比賽全國冠軍、第四屆香港青少年藝術節鋼琴獨奏冠軍、2014香港亞太青少年鋼琴比賽一等獎、蒲公英第九屆青少年藝術新人選拔銀獎,以及國際音樂藝術大賽金獎等等。葉氏同樣活躍於香港的舞台,她不僅獲邀於大賽中演出,還獲香港真光書院邀請擔任表演嘉賓,於2014年,她更在香港理工大學蔣震劇院舉辦個人獨奏會。除獨奏外,葉氏亦擅長合奏和伴奏,並奪得四手聯彈金獎。
葉氏畢業於英國京士頓大學,主修鋼琴演奏。她亦以優異成績考獲英國倫敦聖三一音樂學院的演奏文憑、亦考獲英國皇家音樂學院八級樂理証書。另外,她曾修讀鋼琴教育、音樂史及音樂理論專業文憑,以及音樂演奏高等專業文憑。
除演奏外,葉氏也積極投入音樂藝術教育,分享多年累積的技巧、學識及經驗,培養年輕的音樂種子,其學生在比賽和考試均有出色的表現。
With strong interest in music, Kyra Ip started having piano lesson at the age of five. She studied piano under the famous pianist Dr. Karl Lo and Dr. Claire Chiu. Other teachers include Ms. Grace Lau, Ms. Carol Yu and Dr. Pei Yushu. Ip received numerous prizes and awards, including “De yi zhuan xin” whole China piano competition 1st prize, the 4th Youth Art Festival 1st prize, 2014 Hong Kong Asia-Pacific Youth Piano Competition 1st honour award, the 9th Dandelion Youth Art 2nd prize, International Music & Art Competition 1st prize and etc.
Ip graduated from Kingston University, UK, major in piano performance. She received her Associate Diploma in Recital in Piano with Distinction from The Trinity College London and grade 8 theory certificate from The Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music. In addition, she is the recipient of Advanced Professional Diploma in Music Performance (Piano), Piano Pedagogy and Music History and Theory.
Apart from performance, Ip also devotes herself as a music educator for 8 years. Ip nurtures toddlers with her music program which combines Kodály, Dalcroze, Orff and other teaching approaches. She explores the abilities of children and acquires their musical skills through this approach. Inspired by her enthusiasm, all her students love music and do well in exams and competitions.

Successful teaching derives from more than just the effort and skill of the piano teacher. It also requires the dedicated involvement of student and their parents. The basic responsibilities of each part are:
The teacher’s responsibility is to teach the student not only how to play the piano but how to practice.
The student’s responsibility is to practice properly and regularly and pay attention on the piano lesson.
The parents’ responsibility is to support the student and monitor his or her practices.
