Soloist Photography was official found in 2012 by Ricky Lam.

Ricky started his photography career in wedding photography but he rejected his promotion as junior photographer to seek better skills and knowledge in other sector of photography. During the past years, he worked for different photographers in the industry including David Wong (David Wong Wedding) and commercial photographer Gary Fu (Stars Production House).

In 2011, Ricky started to use the name Soloist Photography as a first step to his photographer career.

The aim of Soloist Photography is to provide high quality photography services in different sector including Wedding Day Photography, Pre-Wedding Photography, Journalism and Family Portrait.
