Marcobilly Photography
Marco’s first contact with a manual film camera was during his school years in Sydney, Australia. He would look for photo opportunities everywhere, and would even use his spare time at school to hone his skills by shooting classrooms, stairs, handrails and hallways. He spent many hours in the dark room developing his own film and making his own prints. This is how his photography life started.
Upon returning to Hong Kong in 2008, Marco was assistant to one of Hong Kong’s top documentary photographers before eventually branching out to form “marcobilly photography” to offer his unique photography style to the wedding couples.
Marco uses his years of experience to capture the most joyous and romantic moments of peoples’ lives. He treats each wedding like shooting a documentary, capturing natural smiles and facial expressions and adding an element of timelessness to each of his photos.
