City Contemporary Dance Company
As the flagship of modern dance company in Hong Kong, City Contemporary Dance Company (CCDC) is renowned for the distinctive and yet diverse style of its programmes. It is a charitable performing arts organisation founded by its present Artistic Director and Chief Executive Director, Willy Tsao in 1979. its Honorary Patron is Mrs Selina Tsang. It is also a touring company, representing Hong Kong and enlightening audiences worldwide with innovative dance works of highest artistic standard.

Creating Dance for Contemporary China
CCDC has nurtured the best choreographers in town including Willy Tsao, Helen Lai, Yuri Ng, Mui Cheuk-yin and Pun Siu-fai. In addition, the Company offers administrative, technical and artistic support to new choreographic talents, exploring new directions of Chinese contemporary dance in the new millennium.

Nurturing Ground for Local Artistic Talents
CCDC is committed to long-term projects of dance education and development. Each year the school of CCDC provides dance courses to over 2,000 students, and organises 3,000 creative workshops. It also reaches out to the youth and the public by bringing 80 free performances to schools, housing estates, parks and shopping arcades each year.
