本人於英國劍橋大學碩士(教育)畢業，並曾於美國留學。曾於香港著名大學教授英語，著有學術文章，曾個別指導學士、碩士及博士班學生撰寫和發表(present)功課及論文，故累積寶貴心得及經驗。對考試技巧素有研究，曾教授雅思(IELTS)及新高中文憑考試技巧班，並有多年公開考試評分經驗。已有多名學生順利畢業或通過考試於本地或外國升學。跟隨本人學習日用/商業英語或文法的同學亦在短時間內有顯著進步。
本人深信因材施教，著重分析 (needs analysis) 及針對學生的強弱項循序教授。現誠意為高中學生、大學生、碩士、博士研究生或其他成年學生提供個性化英語指導。另外亦提供文章修改/潤飾服務(包括回饋及學習建議)。除以上範疇，面試技巧（包括撰寫履歷）、雅思考試、指導撰寫國際學府申請入學材料和面試、文法、日用會話均屬本人強項。

As a Master of Philosophy (Education) from the University of Cambridge, I have taught English in renowned local universities and published a few academic journal articles. I am keen and experienced in providing private tuition to undergraduate and postgraduate (including master’s and doctoral students), helping them with their essay and dissertation write-up, as well as various sorts of presentations. Having a solid grasp of public examination skills, I have also taught IELTS and HKDSE preparatory classes. I also have substantial experience editing theses, dissertations, academic essays, reports and business communications. Students often show significant improvement over a short period of time. Many have successfully graduated, or gone on to pursue further studies after securing the required scores in public examinations.
A firm believer in needs-based and tailored instruction, I am now offering 1) personalized English tuition to high school students, undergraduate, postgraduate students, and other adult students; 2) professional editing (with comments and suggestions).
In addition to the above, I also provide lessons on interview skills, cover letter and resume write-up, IELTS, preparing documents for admission to international schools, grammar, daily and business communication.

Face-to-face lessons:
The exact tuition fee will depend on your level and the number of students in the class. To ensure quality interaction, at most 3 students will be enrolled in each class. Seats are limited.
Editing:
The basic rate is HKD0.2/word. The exact fee will depend on the quality of the original work.
Venue: Negotiable. In Kowloon or along the East Rail. Home tutoring possible (depends on location)
