Course Description
To provide an understanding of the components involved in the operation of successful special events and entertainment management. Areas to be addressed will include management of event logistics, site design and construction, specific resource needs, media and publicity relationships, the role of multi media in events and risk management.

Module Learning Outcome
Upon completion of this programme, students should be able to:
1.Describe the issues involved in the appropriate design, development and establishment of facilities for events and its customers.
2.Apply models and techniques to ensure the smooth logistical operation of an event.
3. Demonstrate an understanding of the role that multi media and emerging technology can play in enhancing the operation and effectiveness of events.
4. Understand the legal and risk management issues in events.

Entry Requirements
Have gained grade E in 2AL subjects in the HKALE and grade E in 3 subjects in HKCEE, or equivalent;
OR
Aged at least 21 years with 3 years relenvant work experience, with evidence of English proficiency such as HKCEE level 2 or equivalent.
Applicants may need to attend English test and/or an interview
