Course Description
This 2.5-year programme gives students a solid foundation in Accounting. Holders of the Advanced Diploma currently receive exemptions:
- Up to 6 papers' exemptions from the ACCA;
- Up to 8 papers' exemptions from the AIA;
- Up to 7 papers' exemptions from the HKIAAT;
- Up to 12 modules' exemptions from University of Hull Bachelor of Science (Hons) Accounting degree programme;
- Up to 12 units' exemptions from Curtin University of Technology (the CRICOS Provider Code: 00301J) Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) / (Accounting and Accounting Technologies) degree programmes;
- Up to 5 modules' exemptions from Dongbei University of Finance & Economics Bachelor Programme in Accounting.

English (Supplemented by Cantonese when necessary)

Exemption
Exemption from up to 8 subjects can be granted to students with suitable qualifications from recognised post-secondary institutions or professional bodies.
Assessment
Assessment is based on coursework (30%), final examination (70%), and attendance (at least 80% of the sessions).
Class Details
Either, weekday evenings, 6:45 - 9:45pm; or Saturday afternoons, 2:30 - 5:30pm, or Saturday evenings, 6:30 - 9:30pm; or Sunday mornings, 10:00am - 1:00pm, or Sunday afternoons, 2:30 - 5:30pm
Entry Requirements
Applicants should
- At least pass in 1 AL or 2 AS-level subjects in HKALE; and 3 passes in the HKCEE PLUS Level 2/Grade E or above in Chinese Language and English Language, or equivalent;
- or, have a degree or diploma from a recognised institution;
- or, be mature students aged 21 or above.
