A New Perspective in surveillence technology
As a project engineering company, systems integrator, and original equipment manufacturer of security products, UniVision Engineering Limited is committed to continuous improvement in technological skills and proactive service.
UniVision commences the design and manufacture of CCTV systems in 1985. Five years later in 1992, UniVision started the development of Compressed Video Transmission and DSP-related video products. One of the most outstanding developments of UniVision is the security monitoring and control software that utilizes a user-friendly graphical user interface (GUI). It provides a simple and yet, advance and comprehensive technique of surveillance systems management. With sound experience in video compression technology, UniVision continues and succeeded to develop video server that enables compressed video signal to be transmitted over existing LAN, WAN, Internet, PSTN or even ISDN. The development has developed open technology where it could be integrated into almost any system. Remote monitoring and video recording are made easy with this digital surveillance network. In addition, the entire surveillance network could be managed under a central and comprehensive management system. This innovative development gives a new perspective to traditional CCTV surveillance system, providing a Gateway to Digital Surveillance.
Expanding the solid foundation
As Part of a Vision for diversification in to the area of security products, UniVision established a research & development agreement with Shenzhen Research Institute of University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) for the products of UniVision CCTV product line.
UniVision's manufacturing facility in the PRC was completed in early 1996. Located in the Shenzhen Special Economic Zone, the plant occupies a gross area of over 10,000 square metre. In addition to the manufacturing facility, UniVision has also established maintenance, training and project services teams to further enhance the company's worldwide after sales support.
