If you had told the teenaged sisters Simone and Justine Daly that they would one day work and travel together to source decor and jewelry gems from around the world for their studio and e-boutique, your optimistic vision would have been met with snorts of derision and well-practised eye-rolls. Work together? Pah! They could barely get through family dinner without wanting to throttle each other.

Two weddings, three baby girls and one inspirational holiday to Amsterdam later, the sisters have joined forces to launch Attic Lifestyle, a decor studio and 'ships to the world' e-boutique that stocks uber cool international brands. Simone heads up operations at Attic Lifestyle's retail HQ in Hong Kong; while Justine develops the digital platform in Cape Town. They both have other 'serious' jobs but living their decor dream keeps them inspired, as do the yearly 'inspirational' sourcing and research trips to countries around the world.

If, like them, you are crazy busy with work, kids, husbands and trying to stylishly feather your nest, take comfort in a little bit of escapist retail therapy at Attic Lifestyle. Every item is loved, and a 'must-buy' on either Simone or Justine (or both!) lust list. The sisters' only rule in choosing stock is that it must be authentic, celebrate old-school quality and not take life too seriously. After all, what is life without a sense of humour, and a sister or friend that you can share a laugh and a big glass of vino with?!
