Aims and Objectives
The Six Sigma Institute (SSI) is an independent institute of the Hong Kong Quality Management Association, a non-profit making professional body. Its primary objective is to accredit Six Sigma professionals with recognized knowledge and skills in this application science. The SSI aims to work closely with consultants, training organizations, universities and other professional bodies in promoting the theory and application of Six Sigma methodologies in both private and public organizations as well as government departments. To achieve these goals, the SSI provides training, examinations and registration of six sigma professionals.

To promote for the benefit of the community, Six Sigma and related theory and practices, for the purpose of enhancing competitive advantage of organizations in both service and manufacturing sectors, and to recognize professional status of Six Sigma practitioners by provision of professional examination and registration.
