正統鋼琴經歷

優 秀鋼琴男導師，21年鋼琴經驗，香港中文大學在讀音樂碩士，擁有三個鋼琴演奏級文憑：具英國聖三一音樂學院鋼琴演奏級文憑（LTCL）、加拿大皇家音樂學 院鋼琴演奏級文憑（ARCT）及溫哥華音樂學院鋼琴演奏文憑(Vancouver Academy of Music)。19歲於溫哥華音樂學院Koerner演奏廳舉行個人鋼琴獨奏會，屢獲大小型鋼琴比賽獎項，保送英國皇家音樂學院（ABRSM）考試及聖三 一音樂學院(Trinity College London)考試，師從加拿大著名鋼琴家李金星徒弟Sheila Hardy女士,香港著名演奏家羅乃新女士。

流行音樂經歷

創 作流行歌曲愈十年，曾獲第九屆加拿大中文歌曲創作大賽大獎，及第五屆加拿大英文歌曲創作大賽最佳歌曲、歌詞及最佳編曲獎。

入圍第八屆華研全球華人詞曲創作 大賽最後10強。曾為不同機構活動創作歌曲／編曲／擔任音樂總監，並於各大婚宴商場場所演出，包括朗豪坊、APM、荷李活廣場、富豪酒店、賽馬會會所、深 灣遊艇會。

現為香港作曲家及作詞家協會會員。

於2011年發表個人創作專輯 《Convictions》，於香港各大唱片店包括CD Warehouse, Hong Kong Records等售賣。

教學特點

．可以根據學生的性格特點及鋼琴演奏程度配套出個性化的訓練方案。

分析一個學生
a. 從他彈奏的過程觀察他的：
    i.  音樂感 – 他能帶出樂曲的感情嗎？ 投入到樂曲要表達的氣氛嗎？
    ii.      技巧 –有沒有基本功？ 平時有否足夠的練習？

b. 從跟學生的談話觀察他：

    i.  對音樂的理解 – 知道為什麼要彈琴嗎？ 演繹樂曲背後的目的是什麼？ 了解樂曲的

        來由嗎？ 音樂的意義在哪兒？

針對性的訓練
c. 音樂感 – 要多用比喻性的描述和視像化的表達來指導學生

d. 技巧 – 要多練習手指基本功– 這個沒有捷徑！

e. 對音樂的覺悟 – 要多看書籍，指導學生買CD/上網聽別人演奏，出席演奏會等

f.  時間 – 針對性在短時間內練習有問題的地方，但當然有足夠時間練習是最好！

g. 培養學生責任感 – 每一課設定特定的練習目標，盡量要在下一課看到進步”

Distinctive Teaching Methods

→     Design personalized training programs according to the personal characteristics and

         piano skills specific to each student.

◎ To analyze a student’s:
     §  Through his performance:

     ．Musical sense – whether he can convey the emotions, atmosphere, and messages underlying the music.
     ．Skills – whether he has basic technical trainings in mastering the piece.

    §  Through communicating with him:

    ．His understanding of the music – reasons for learning piano; the purpose and importance of artistic interpretation; whether he understands background of the music and its significance in the historical and musical context.

     §  Musical sense -  use metaphorical and visualized explanations to strengthen the student’s musical sense

     §  Techniques – strengthen technical skills and practice hours – no short-cuts!

     §  Music appreciation – read more books, listen to CDs and live performance will increase the student’s understanding and appreciation of music

     §  Time – if time is limited, focus on key areas to help eliminate/limit the student’s weaknesses

     §  Development of responsibility and self-discipline – specific targets set for each lesson so that improvement can be seen
