Founded in 2001, J.A.M. is a Hong Kong local pop-rock band that has plenty of experience in live performance in various occasions, including bars/pubs, shows and wedding banquets.

Background
Mai has been a hardcore guitar fan since 2000 and used to perform in the evening outside of Hong Kong Cultural Centre in TST. It is a place where many street performers get together and that’s when Mai was attracted by JJ’s guitar skill. Mai and JJ began to perform as a duet until JJ brought his old-time classmate Andy on board and formed J.A.M.
In 2001, J.A.M. participated in Tom Lee Music’s 2nd “Original Unplugged Bands Contest” and successfully got into the final. Since 2003, J.A.M has been invited to stage live performance at bars and pubs including I.T. Modena and 朋友演藝酒廊, and recruited Sam and Joey to be part of the team.
