Senior Developer
For our regional Asia team, we are now looking for a new Developer who will work on all the existing and new web and mobile-based projects of the Asia-Pacific Office. This position is based in Cyberport, Hong Kong.
Under the supervision of the Managing Director and CEO, in partnership with and in close collaboration with our existing Hong Kong team, you will be responsible for:
- The update and implementation of the new CMS in the Asia-Pacific region.
- This includes:
- Needs analysis,
- Choose the proper technical solution,
- Develop all the technical functions,
- Test and validate the functions,
- Adapt the product to the changing environment whenever needed
- To maintain and administrate our servers
- To deploy our online CMS on Cloud
- To assist in development of our CMS
The ideal candidate should be:
- Degree in Computer Science (Development and Project Management) or equivalent.
- Professional experience in similar projects.
- Expert knowledge of PHP coding and MySQL
- Experience in jQuery/Javascript/HTML5/CSS/Ajax
- Experience in setting up and maintaining Linux servers (e.g. web server/file server/email server)
- Experience in Amazon Cloud Hosting is an advantage
- Knowledge of web related production applications (e.g. Dreamweaver / Photoshop)
- Fluent in English.
- Good team player, autonomous and reliable.
Location: Cyberport 5 days work week, 15 days of annual leave
