私人課程及訓練營Sandy Filomena Macarden出生於英國，小時候在香港接受教育，高中後回到英國接受高等教育，于倫敦大學經濟學第一榮譽學士畢業。她于學士畢後繼續攻讀雙碩士學位，經濟學及心理學，畢業後受聘于美國運通銀行作經濟分拆柝師。一九八一年她回到大學任教，university of Durham, 全英國首五位學府。
她于英國大學任教，作為濟學及心理學的教授，歷時三十五年，曾發表四十多份專業研究專題報告，包括經濟學，心理學及哲學，備受學術界的認同及肯定。
一九九九年她受聘於香港考評局作為教育改革顧問。於留港期間她開創了ASK學問持續教育，隨了作為香港教育改革的顧問，于新高中學提議制中加上了【通識科】，以實踐sandy 獨創的教育哲學模式 【ASK】。 同時她亦在她開創的培訓中心 【ASK學問持續教育】幫助赴英國留學學生完成他們的夢想。開辦英國普通中等教育國際文憑課程 （IGCSE），及普通教育高級證書課程 （GCE AL）, 提高赴英入讀十大最高學府的機會。
於二零一零年， Sandy更獲得愛德思（EDEXCEL）BTEC 授權在港直接為畢業學生授予（HND） 高級文憑。Sandy 將會於2014 年開創全球唯一的愛德思 BTEC 心理學高級文憑課程。以適合二十一世紀對心理輔導的需求。均有提供。
