Easter & Summer Film Camps
Focus on Film's five-day four-night camp immerses students ages 11-14 (juniors) and 15-18 (seniors) in a full on film shoot on location at our Pui O beach venue. All students will have the chance to direct, edit, produce and act in their own short film and complete their own work in DVD format. The essentials of film-making are covered through the magic of hands on film location shooting.
Senior Participants in the camp may choose the Certificate Option which allows Campers to receive a Certificate of Study. Curriculum includes Film Criticism, Film Appreciation and Film History. Writen assignments are handed in during camp to complete the criteria.

Camp Timeline and Logistics
Camp is from 9:00 am to 6:00pm with a break for lunch and dinner. All meals are provided on site. Students sleep at the shooting venue in our camp site on Pui o beach. Evening activities are organized if night shoots are not on the agenda. Participants are picked up by the facilitator at the Central Ferry pier on day one and dropped off at the Mui O ferry pier in Lantau at the end of camp. Transportation to and from the venue (Mui Wo to Pui O) is provided.
A day camp option is available for those who would prefer to return home at the end of the day. Please see below for pricing details.

Located only forty minutes from Central, Pui O Beach is a special place in Hong Kong. This beautiful natural setting offers many possibilities for on-location shooting. Pui O, with its pristine beach, wooded hiking trails, small villages and modern town houses, provides the students with multiple backgrounds for shooting. Students learn the art of visual story telling in a stimulating yet safe environment.

Day Camp option: A 30% discount is applicable for those who would prefer to return home at the end of each day.
