For many years, guzheng virtuoso Lunlun Zou has been the top choice for those seeking to learn the best skills of guzheng play. Among her students are not only Hong Kong locals, but many overseas visitors too have been regularly joining Lunlun Zou's guzheng classes.
To meet the rising demand and popularity, Lunlun Zou decided to expand her teaching facilities and in November 2006 established the International Academy for Musical Arts (IAMA), an educational institution with focus on both, the western and eastern styles of music and instruments.
IAMA is not only a music school, but also a music store with selection of top quality musical instruments and accessories, including some highly exclusive brands.
Under the direction of Austrian manager Peter Kahl, IAMA is truly international school, with faculty and students from all corners of the world. IAMA teachers are carefully selected to be knowledgable, experienced and artistically able to provide the highest level of tuition. They are chosen from the local and international pool of talent, with abilities as the most important criteria of qualification.
Language of instruction is English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin).
