I am a responsible, knowledgeable and qualified English teacher whose English competence is of an educated native-speaker, with clear and articulated speech. I possess a CELTA (Cambridge ESOL) and a Master’s Degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (University of Bath). Before moving to Hong Kong, I was teaching English to mid-teens and adults at an English language school in Bristol, U.K. Since arriving in Hong Kong a year ago, I have been teaching English in local primary and secondary schools and also offering private tutorials to professionals, and local school students (with focus on grammar, writing, reading and speaking).
I aim to conduct my lessons in an engaging, dynamic and lively manner. I have experience teaching Cambridge (Starters, Movers, Flyers, CPE, CAE and IELTS), business English, conversational English. I also teach English to children through a cross-curricular approach.
I live in Po Lam (5 mins walk from the MTR) but happy to conduct my lessons in students home. I hold a clean SCRC record. All learning materials are provided.
