Isla School of Dance
Ballet training is a wonderful experience for young children. It enriches their creativity and sense of fantasy. It develops concentration and discipline, it also builds a foundation of confidence, self-esteem, and natural grace.
At Isla School of Dance, our mission is to provide the finest quality of ballet training in a comfortable and nurturing setting. The School follows the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) Examination Syllabus and we strive to provide strict, yet fun, and challenging classes for children from age two to professional level.
The principal, Ms. Isla MacKillop (BA (Dance), NBS Dip., RAD RTS, AISTD) and her teaching staff are highly qualified and experienced. They are all registered with the Royal Academy of Dance, UK.
We are located at CNT Tower in Wanchai. With over 6,500 sq. ft area, we have two spacious studios. Both studios are specially designed with wood sprung floors, mirrors, barres and air-conditioning and are fully equipped with modern audio-visual equipment for teaching purposes.
We encourage all students to participate in the school’s annual performance, public shows, parent’s open week and charity events. These occasions provide valuable stage experience, instill confidence and facilitate the transition from student to professional.
