About Us
E&C Wine Company Limited was founded in 2010 in Hong Kong by the wine professionals. Our mission is to "Help People Appreciate Wine Better" through wine education, training and consultation.
We provide trainings to wine shops and wine clubs to their front-line staff. Selling skills and wine services are the key focus together with the basic wine knowledge.
We conduct WSET courses in a very approachable but still professional manner to help wine lovers at all levels grasp the wine knowledge in a fun way. E&C Wine is a WSET Approved Programme Provider.
We hold wine classes and guided tastings on special topics from time to time and upon requests by our customers.
We provide consultant services to both corporate and individual customers. Our wine shop offers a portfolio of wines to strengthen our Sommelier advices. Customers may present us a menu for food and wine matching without additional charges.

Our Director, Mr Ivan Hui, has a Bachelor degree in Chemistry from the University of Hong Kong. As a wine professional, Ivan is a Certified Specialist of Wine by the Society of Wine Educators, a Certified Sommelier by the Court of Master Sommeliers, and is holding the WSET Advanced Certificate. He is now in the second year of the WSET Diploma program. Ivan is also a qualified tutor of WSET courses.
As a founding member of the Hong Kong Wine Merchants’ Chamber of Commerce, Ivan chairs the Quality Standard Committee.

Wine Course
WSET® Qualification CourseFounded in 1969, The UK based Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET®) aims to promote, provide and develop high quality education and training in wines and spirits. WSET® qualifications are internationally recognised and are now represented in 55 countries throughout the world with over 27,500 examination candidates per annum. The WSET® courses have become almost a requirement to be eligible for the prestigious title of Master of Wine. E&C Wine Co. Ltd. is a WSET® Approved Programme Provider. All courses are conducted by WSET® qualified tutors through lectures and tutored wine tasting. E&C Wine is now offering WSET® Level 1 course for people who want to start with the very basic, and WSET® Level 2 course for wine enthusiasts who want to get a jump start in their wine learning journey.
Teaching will be in Cantonese supplemented with English terms, while course materials and examinations are in English.
Teaching in Putonghua or English is available if there are enough applicants.
