課程目標 : This course is designed for people working, training or planning to work in the tourism and hospitality industry. It highlights the listening and speaking skills with particular emphasis on getting participants to carry out realistic communicative tasks. Authentic materials will be used wherever possible. Each topic will contain a variety of conversation samples for role-playing activities, which concentrate on the language structures that occur frequently in the context of work in hotels, restaurants, travel agencies and airports, and on the development of participants’ ability to deal with guests/customers in different situations.
For trainees and employees working in the tourism and hospitality industry who need English both to communicate with guests and to negotiate with English speakers, this intensive course provides them with a good opportunity to enhance their communicative competence.
