This programme explores the importance of image and brands, what they mean to consumers, and how they should be managed to maximize the value of corporate reputation. It provides participants with knowledge to use corporate identity functions as a problem-solving skill in marketing and corporate image planning. The programme combines phases of information gathering, organizational analysis, strategic development, creative design, graphics systems development and establishing applications standards into a coordinated program.


 Objectives

Upon completion of the whole programme, students should be able to:

  • Understand the scope of branding decisions and the value of the customer-based brand equity framework;
  • Demonstrate the value of brand elements and sub-brands;
  • Investigate the relationship between branding and corporate image planning;
  • Examine the effects of changing demographics on brand marketing strategies;
  • Master the strategies and tactics over the change in the product and brand life cycle;
  • Demonstrate knowledge in corporate image planning and brand design strategy.

 Who Should Attend

Anyone who is interested in corporate image planning and brand design strategy, especially those who are in charged with marketing, public relation and management responsibilities.




 Assessment

Students are required to pass both Continuous Assessment (in the form of assignments, case study and presentation, test etc.) and examination in each course. The passing mark is 50%.
