Course Description
This programme is designed for those who are already in supervisory or middle managerial level in the logistics industry, and who wish to pursue a higher level of academic qualification and professional recognition in the logistics, e-Commerce and related areas, in order to improve their career advancement prospects in the industry. This programme is also designed for professionals and students to acquire partial exemptions from the Professional Qualification Examination Syllabus of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT) Hong Kong.
Duration
12 months (minimum) or equivalent to 48 weeks
Medium of Instruction
English supplemented by Cantonese.
Programme Structure
Lecture Schedule
2-3 evenings sessions a week and possible weekends, 7:00 - 10:00pm for weekday, 2:30 - 5:30pm for weekend.
The programme consists of 6 modules, to be completed in a minimum of 12 months. It is divided into two parts:

Assessment and Award
Assessment for each of the 6 modules will be based on one assignment/project and a final examination. In general, the performance grade for the examination and assignment/project varies accordingly to individual module. The overall pass mark is 50%.
Upon successful completion of the programme (pass all 6 modules), students will be awarded a Professional Diploma in China Logistics by HKU SPACE.
Graduates are able to pursue a Bachelor’s Degree in a business related area with HKU SPACE.
Entry Requirements
Applicants should
- have gained in the HKCEE Grade E in 5 subjects including English Language (Syllabus B) [Grade C in the case of English Language (Syllabus A)] or equivalents;
- AND have gained in the HKALE, Grade E in 1 AL subject or 2 AS subjects, or hold a post-secondary Certificate or Diploma with at least 1 year part-time duration;
- AND have at least two years full-time work experience in logistics, transport, marketing or a business related area;
- OR hold a relevant Certificate/ Advanced Certificate awarded by HKU SPACE or equivalent qualifications.
