RDI Management Learning Hong Kong is part of Resource Development International (RDI) Group.
RDI was established in 1990 to 'export' UK University education abroad. It established its first offices in Hong Kong, Singapore and Indonesia in 1990. In 1996, the Management Learning brand was established in Hong Kong. In 2006, RDI Hong Kong's operation is known as RDI Management Learning.
RDI's business developed via the creation of a number of centres around the world all dedicated to supporting learners through a variety of distance learning programmes. The focus of the business has been training and development within the areas of business and management.
Over the years long term strategic relationships with several Universities and accrediting bodies have been developed and the number of RDI subsidiaries and partner centres has grown to more than twenty five across Asia, North America, Africa and Europe, enrolling and supporting more than 3,000 students per year.
With its headquarters in Coventry, UK, RDI's overriding philosophy is to provide individuals and organisations with professional development pathways consisting of University qualifications within the areas of business and management that are delivered in a flexible way with supported distance learning at the core of our learning model.
RDI's role in the delivery of the qualifications ranges from marketing and recruitment, administrative and logistical support, academic tutoring in classroom or via our virtual campus, assessment preparation and marking, and distance learning material development.
In the beginning of year 2000, RDI extends its clients base into the corporate market. RDI brings its proven success in delivering change management and team development programmes to organisations. The ability to create sustainable changes to the way people think and behave is evidenced many years on by the improvements in productivity, morale and workforce flexibility that remain and are witnessed by all those we invite to visit our past clients. Our clients included IMI plc, Rolls-Royce, WS Atkins, Goodrich among others. Our work in the corporate market is growing rapidly within the areas of team working, accredited management development programmes, and leadership programmes.
Our aim is to service our clients with a range of management and business development interventions that improve the performance of the organisation by improving the performance, skills and attitudes of the people within it.
