Designing Interactive Web Graphics using Fireworks
Objectives
This course will teach participants how to design Web graphics using Macromedia Fireworks. Techniques in handling various graphics files format, as well as optimization for web output.
Course Content
(1) Introduction understanding the fireworks interface
(2) Vector graphics using vector graphics and objects
(3) Bitmap graphics editing and applying special effects, animated GIFs, Text handling
(4) Graphics file types optimization for web use and pros and cons in different file formats
(5) Web graphics buttons, hotspots, rollovers and image slicing
Each participant will be provided with one PC terminal for hands-on practice
Admission Requirements
Participants must have basic knowledge in PC/Windows, Internet and HTML. Prior experience in graphic design will be beneficial, but not essential.
