Integrated Multimedia Web Page Design Course
Objectives
The objective of this course is to help the participants to develop the necessary skills to produce feature-rich multimedia web pages using popular web publishing tools.
Course Content(1) Web page design terminology (2) Things to consider on production - cost, intended audience, content and layout design (3) Basic design, color theory and limitation on the web media (4) Basic web graphics production skills - Use of 'Fireworks' to create web graphics and modify digital photo or scanned images for web uses (5) Basic web animation techniques - Use of 'Flash' to create simple animated web graphics with sound (6) Putting all together - Use of 'Dreamweaver' to produce web page layout with texts, web graphics and Flash animation plus other multimedia elements like sounds, music and video clips (7) Upload web pages to web servers and things to considerEach participant will be provided with one PC terminal for hands-on practiceAdmission RequirementsParticipants are expected to have good knowledge of PC and Windows operation.
