Our Philosophy

Engineers know that the core to any structure is the foundation on which it is built upon. This truth also applies to the structure of the mind. Children, especially in the early ages, are essentially engineers building what will become their attitudes, values, and beliefs.

Many parents subject their child to academic stimuli while neglecting other core elements of development. While we agree that knowledge is important we also hold that a child’s attitude is much more valuable. If a child does not possess the proper attitude towards life, then no amount of help will enable the child to achieve success. Conversely, if a child has the proper attitude then he/she will seek out new knowledge and their curiosity will lead them on a path no teacher can teach.

The staffs at The Whole Child Development Center hold this notion at the core of our teachings. We strive to help children establish a self-awareness of one’s learning, giving them the confidence they require to attain whatever they desire.
