Malaysian food is delicious, especially when prepared by an expert!  The Place welcomes special guest Chef Tan Seong Pin, captain of the Malaysian national culinary team at the 2006 Culinary Olympics to present his award winning dishes in May. Typically spicy and flavourful, Malaysian food is a melting pot of herbs and spices and Chef Tan uses the freshest ingredients to make sure his laksa, satay, redang, fried noodle and much, much more are the best you have ever tasted!

The first event in January proved such a success we’re doing it again!  Portal and its people will become the inspiration for another group of Hong Kong’s artists as they return over three weeks to create art as they see it.  We encourage you to interact with the artists – you may even become part of their finished works!
