Treasure Island Treasure Island and Global Adventures are dedicated to the development of knowledgeable, confident, and caring young people through its commitment to adventure, community and the environment. Established in 1996, and with over 3,000 youths attending its camps annually, Treasure Island is a distinguished leader in outdoor education in Hong Kong and the Asian region.
Drawing upon years of experience of working closely with schools, we have created a comprehensive Outdoor Education Curriculum with links to both the International Baccalaureate Curriculum and the British National Curriculum. Treasure Island’s programmes divide into naturally occurring stages with school curriculum requirements, which include the following:
• A Progressive Primary Programme for Years 3 through 6
• A Creative/Action/Service (CAS) Tribal Camp for Years 7-9
Global Adventures, Treasure Island’s youth division, spearheads programmes for students in years 9 through 13, including:
• CAS Youth Leadership Programmes in Hong Kong & Abroad
• Outbound International Expeditions
• Gap Year Adventure Leadership Training Certificate
The Eco-Adventures Foundation is a non-profit entity formed through the partnership of Treasure Island and Global Adventures in order to increase the availability of outdoor education opportunities for our children and youth. This foundation, along with other charities and corporations in the Hong Kong community, offer scholarships to select individuals, school groups, and organizations to ensure that the wonders of adventure, community, and environment are accessible to children and youth of all economic backgrounds. www.treasureislandhk.com
