INTERNATIONAL MANAGEENT ASSOCIATION


According to the latest The World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC) report for 174 countries, it is reported that the travel and tourism recovery from 9/11, the war in Iraq, SARS, and the down-turned economy is now well underway and the overall outlook for the sector is for robust growth. Travel & Tourism Forecast set the industry's 10-year annualized growth (2005-2014) at 4.5 percent per year with a bull market recovery predicted for 2005. High demand, visitor exports, and increased contribution to GDP, the broader perspective of the travel and tourism economy (direct and indirect) is expected to create nearly 10 million new jobs (9,931,000) for the world economy for a total of 214.7 million jobs dependent on travel and tourism or 8.1 per cent of total employment.

In view of the tremendous growth and employment opportunities in the hospitality industry, the Master of Hospitality Management-MHM is designed to help its learners achieve the following objectives:

Admission Requirements

A bachelor's degree and English Language proficiency.

-

Those without a bachelor's degree, with diploma and at least 5 years working experience, may also be considered.



Graduation Requirements



Students who successfully complete the program will be awarded the MBA degree of ACU. The degree will be of SAME STATUS as that awarded to graduates in the US. To be eligible for graduation, candidates must pass all the required courses and the master thesis.



Application Procedures



All applications must be submitted to American Central University (HK) Representative Office. Each application package must contain:

a duly completed application form

academic transcripts, proof of work experience and resume

two passport-sized recent photos

-

application and processing fee of HK$5,700, payable to International Management Association
