"The Nzingha Lounge" is more than a concept - It is the very character of Africa, in her grace, heritage and richness of persona. From her relaxed ambiance, the sensuous flavor of her coffee beans, and delectable spirits, to the captivating nature of African beats. She is unique to Hong Kong and rightfully represents what we consider to be the most authentic. Our mission is to introduce and adapt the modern and traditional essence of Africa in Hong Kong.
The earthy mystique of Africa is represented within the Lounge by a mixture of imported artifacts, all of which is tastefully detailed by a renowned local artist. The spacious, unique ambiance also makes The Nzingha Lounge ideal for parties and private functions.
Showcasing the pulse of Africa every night is our in-House DJ, meshing a myriad of music including afro pop, reggae, Caribbean genres, that ever-present touch of tradition and more. Nzingha integrates her relaxed theme well with the needs of the average Hong Konger. Providing a smoke-free environment not only liberates the senses and takes away from our clientele the burden of a hazardous atmosphere but is our way of inviting you to experience Africa in her pure, earthy glory.
Cuisine is seen to with precision, and the preparation of certain dishes takes hours, making advance booking a necessity.
