I-Kiln Studio is a well-equipped ceramics studio founded in 1996 by Kam-shing Chan, a professional artist in ceramics and printmaking. It is a non-profit making organization, and has been sponsoring by the Hong Kong Arts Development Council of its one year granted scheme since 1997. The name, 'I-Kiln' is originated from a Chinese idiom '

' (Enjoy oneself). We hope people who love arts and ceramics will enjoy learning and creating their own artworks, and sharing their experience and views in arts in the studio. We are not only a professional studio for practicing artists, but also aim at promoting the arts of ceramics in Hong Kong.
