一般地說,人每天喝水的量至少要與水分消耗量相平衡。成人一天所排出的尿量約有1500毫升,加上從糞便、呼吸及皮膚所蒸發的水,總共消耗水分約2500 毫升左右,而人體每天能從食物中和體內新陳代謝中補充的水分只有1000毫升左右,因此正常成人每天至少需要喝1500毫升水。需要注意的是吃飯前後不宜大量飲水,否則會衝淡胃液,長期下去會引發胃疾患;入睡前也不宜大量飲水,否則會影響睡眠。飲水最好飲溫水,過熱過冷都不好;最好不要喝飲料。夏天水份消耗量大,可以多喝一些水。但大量失水的情況下,補水的同時要注意補充電解質,否則容易導致水中毒。另外,平時可以多吃一些含水多的水果,既可以補充水份,又可以補充維生素。
