成交日期(COMPLETION DATE 或 CLOSING DATE),一般口頭上說是CLOSING DATE,這有別於取消貸款條件日期 (SUBJECT REMOVAL DATE) 和交收物業日期 (POSSESSION DATE)。
COMPLETION DATE 或 CLOSING DATE 是正式成為業主的日子,物業也正式登記在你的名下,貸款利息計算也是從這一天開始。物業一經登記在你的名下,如物業發生事故,你也要負責。

交收物業日期 (POSSESSION DATE)可以是成交日期之後數天,這日子是人客和屋主自行決定,總括來說,法律生效日是以成交日(COMPLETION DATE)計。

一般而言 Completion Date 是物業 '正式成交' 日期, 當買家的律師, 在 '田土廳' 辦理 '轉契手續' 後, 扣除其他支出費用, 再將 '購買款項' 交與業主, 便完成 '買賣交易'
